dropped 4 degrees where we have been Mahi fishing and it did affect the catch. We had 70 Mahi (3 to 8 lbs), 3 Longfin 25 to 35 lbs), and 30 Yellowfin (most were 60 to 70 lbs but we did have some 15 to 20 lb fish mixed in).
Updated 09 17 14We had a great trip, nice weather and very good fishing. About an hour after sun rise a Whale Shark paid us a visit, It made several passes down our port side at about 3 to 4 feet below the surface, nice to see them still around.
Updated 09 14 14We just got in from our first tuna trip, we had excellent Mahi fishing, with fish up to 30 lbs, the average size was 6 to 10 lbs. of Easterly winds and could not make it to where we had planned to fish, a couple boats did have good tuna fishing in that area and we will be on those grounds on Tuesdays trip.
Updated 08 18 14The heavy rain storm slowed our fishing down for a couple days but everything has calmed down and the Fluke are biting again. Our pools have been won by 4 to 6 pound Fluke.
Updated 8 06 14For the second night in the last 7 days we saw a Hump Back whale on our Sunset Cruise. Its really a sight to see, a large whale so up close.
Updated 7 29 14The bigger Fluke are starting to move in, still good amounts of shorts. Today was a good day, slower this afternoon but some nice size keepers.
Updated 7 25 14The fishing over the last three days has really improved, loads of shorts and some very nice size Fluke. I will post pictures later today.
Updated 7 21 14The water temps are fine right now, 70 degrees, we had some good trips this past week but the windy days make for poor fishing. Im adding a lot of pictures that we have taken aver the past two weeks.
Updated 7 13 14We had several days of slow fishing with water temps in the mid 50s however the water temps are back to around 68 degrees yesterday and the fishing has improved. We would like to see temps in the 70s this time of year for good fishing and swimming!
